Isabelle, Isabelle being revealed in the 9/13/18 Nintendo Direct. Isabelle has her very own Twitter account at @animalcrossing, which was first used for sending news about New Leaf and later on for subsequent games. Isabelle turns over a new leaf! I have worked with children long enough to know that the human body, contrary to what many believe, is not damaging to the average child’s psyche. Her Japanese name, Shizue (しずえ?), may be interpreted as “quiet branch”, perhaps referring to the tranquility of an Animal Crossing town.
